How to find the perfect bed during National Bed Month

We spend around 20,000 hours in bed over 7 years, which is a long time to spend with a mattress that you are not happy with, so it is important to make the right choice first time. So as March is national bed month why not start thinking about changing your mattress so you can get more out of your 20,000 hours in bed.

Top tips to getting more out of your sleep

  • If you suffer from allergies such as asthma you could try using mattress and pillow protectors which will help to reduce the amount of dust mites, and therefore reducing the amount your allergies disturb you whilst you sleep.
  • When choosing a new bed try to consider if you get hot whilst you sleep. If this is the case you may want to stay away from memory foam and try mattresses with natural fillings as they are completely breathable and will help to keep you cool whilst you sleep.
